DHA Catch Registration System upgrades to Version 2.0 After having supplied a large number of Catch Registration Systems all over the world, running on version 1.x of the software, DHA has now released the new and improved version 2.0. This version runs on another hardware platform and has a large number of new features, such as advanced data capturing of multiple sensors (e.g. hold temperature, dech temperature and engine management) and an improved user interface. New modules for Poseidon : Aquaculture and Packing Terminal Recently two new modules were added to the Poseidon Suite. The new module Aquaculture will, amongst other places, be used in fish farming projects in Malaysia and China. Installation of Catch Registration Systems on Sri Lankan vessels Following the very sucessfull installation of the "Poseidon Suite for Tuna" in the factory of Apollo Marine on Sri Lanka, we have now equiped the vessels that land directly into the factory with Catch Registration Systems. This way Apollo Marine is able to give full traceability, all the way back to the GPS position where the fish was caught. DHA delivers unique support to Mexican fishery project In cooperation with a number of parties, amongst whom the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership, a local ship owner and WWF Mexico, DHA has supllied the hardware, software and services for a unique project in Guamas, Sonora (Mexico). Voice Pick option for DHA-Poseidon Sometimes it is necessary or simply requested to have both hands free when picking orders in a warehouse situation. For these operations we have developed the Poseidon Voice Pick Module. Catch registration for top-restaurants De Haan Automatisering BV, a specialist in the field of registration systems in fishery, fish trade and fish production, were ordered by the largest producer of seafood in the UK, Youngs Bluecrest, to supply a system on which up-to-the-minute catch- and landing information is reproduced on big plasmascreens. The system will be used in the Fishworks restaurants of the British topcook and Michelin Star holder Mitch Tonks, winner of " best fish restaurant" in the ITV London Awards 2005. Poseidon ready for the General Foodlaw (since 2001 !!!) Much has been said about the upcomming General Foodlaw, that will be activated on Januari 1st 2005. The users of the DHA Poseidon software do already have all the neccesary functionality, since 2001! All tracking and tracing, backward and forward, that is needed to live up to the new law has been implemented ever since.
